Alexandra Sanidas, Registered Chiropodist, has a strong educational background including a post-graduate Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody at The Michener Institute of Education at the University Health Network (UHN) in addition to a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences Degree majoring in Kinesiology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).
Alexandra has applied her expertise to service a wide variety of communities with their foot care needs including seniors, children, athletes, and those with complex medical conditions and individual needs. In addition to nail, skin and callus care, Alexandra provides treatment related to diabetes, neuropathy, heel pain/plantar fasciitis, bunions, and fungal infections. She provides custom made orthotics (including plaster casting), injections, ingrown nail surgery, foot taping, she is able to prescribe medications and provide modalities such as laser as needed.

Krista has been practicing chiropody in the Durham and Clarington regions since 2012. She previously worked at King Physiotherapy and Foot Clinic from 2013-2024, until opening Newcastle Foot Clinic and Orthotics in June 2024. She is an energetic and passionate Chiropodist with a strong focus on ensuring her patients receive quality foot care.
Krista graduated from the Michener Institute with Distinction in 2012. Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Northern Iowa where she received a scholarship to play Division 1 soccer for the UNI Panthers. She competed in the Missouri Valley Conference where she was consistently ranked as one of the top goalkeepers in the NCAA over her four-year career.
These days, Krista lives in Whitby and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys hiking, playing sports, and baking.
